After losing contact with her best friend, Cole, and eventually attempting suicide, Catherine is sent to group therapy. While there, she reunites with Cole, who is recovering from his own illness that led to him leaving school. As Catherine and Cole slowly fall for each other and Catherine begins to recover, Cole starts to relapse.
